Building relationships to enable our members to prosper!

Mission

The mission of the Allen Fairview Chamber of Commerce is to advocate, educate, and build relationships that enable our communities and members to prosper.

Vision

The vision of the Allen Fairview Chamber of Commerce is to be the indispensable resource for Allen, Fairview, and Collin County businesses.

Chamber Organizational Values

The Allen Fairview Chamber serves our members and community with integrity and pride, continuously seeking improvement as we strive to be the best. We are dedicated to the success of our members and use Chamber resources purposefully and efficiently.

Equity/Inclusion/Respect

We will treat each, and every, member with courtesy and respect, never forgetting that those individuals represent the base from which all Chamber operations grow. In short, we will not forget that companies become members because they desire to, not because they are required to. Nor will we forget that all individuals within our membership will be treated with respect and their diversity celebrated.

Public Trust

We will not lose sight of the fact that we hold positions of public trust. Our members have placed their confidence and trust in us and we will live up to that trust.

Teamwork

We will work cooperatively as a team, always remembering that service to our members is what counts – concern for recognition or organizational power simply gets in our way.

Initiative

We will take the initiative to anticipate problems and issues and recommend solutions for the Board’s consideration.

Resources

We will use the Chamber’s resources purposefully and efficiently, never forgetting that most of our resources come from the pockets and potential profits of our members.

The Allen Fairview Chamber is a 501(C)(6) non-profit business association made up of business owners and citizens who are investing their time and money in a true community development program – working together with the City of Allen, Town of Fairview, the Allen and Lovejoy Independent School Districts and the Allen & Fairview Economic Development Corporations to improve the economic, civic, and cultural fortitude of the region, community, and greater Allen Fairview area.

Any business leader or citizen who is interested in helping to develop the community is eligible to be a member of the chamber of commerce. The direct benefit is a stronger local economy: more businesses and more jobs with higher salaries and better fringe benefits. The indirect benefits are more public programs, better schools, and less crime. The work of the chamber is financed by the investments of its members.

The Chamber is guided by a Board of Directors who are business leaders in the area and represent a cross-section of our chamber membership. Active membership in your chamber carries with it a sense of accomplishment and pride of satisfaction from the knowledge that you are doing your share of an important job for the community. Every member has a voice in determining the policies and projects that the chamber undertakes.

Chamber membership pays when our members become involved in helping us increase their exposure within the community, assist in building relationships with other members, providing referrals and offering opportunities for our members to their enhance their business acumen. A great way to build your business is by helping to build your community.
