The Mission of the Business Success Advocate Team is to act as a liaison between the Allen Fairview Chamber of Commerce and its members by ensuring all Chamber Members take advantage of their membership benefits and learn how to stay engaged and up to date with all programs the Chamber has to offer, thus enabling businesses to prosper.
Ambassadors are the directors of first impressions for the Allen Fairview Chamber, playing very important roles in serving as representatives in the community and as mentors to new Chamber members during their first year. In addition, Ambassadors work with the membership committee to encourage growth of the Chamber, member retention and participation at Chamber events.
The Mission of the Business Advocacy Committee (BAC) is to provide a strong and respected voice for our business community.
Purpose & Method: To review and monitor legislative issues that impact the businesses that we represent; to recommend Chamber positions on issues to the Board of Directors for action and to inform our members of same, in part, through the following programs: Annual Candidate Forum, Eggs & Issues Breakfasts, Collin County Days in Austin; Legislative Wrap-Up Receptions; Get Out the Vote Initiatives, Position papers and Resolutions.
The Committee meets monthly during the legislative session and as needed at other time to review, discuss and at time recommend action to the Chamber Board of Directors on Local, County, State and National issues effecting the local business community and specifically, Chamber members.
