MEET OUR BUSINESS SUCCESS ADVOCATES

What is an Ambassador, and what do they do?

Ambassadors are the directors of first impressions for the Allen Fairview Chamber, playing very important roles in serving as representatives in the community and as mentors to new Chamber members during their first year. In addition, Ambassadors work with the membership committee to encourage growth of the Chamber, member retention and participation at Chamber events.

The mission of the DEI Task Force is to educate, recognize, collaborate with and provide resources and programming to all segments of our membership and our communities..

MEET THE DEI TASK FORCE

Mission Statement: To showcase and educate about services and goods available to all seniors in the Allen Fairview area in hopes of making their lives easier to navigate. Our group represents trustworthy resources for our senior citizens.

Allen & Fairview, Texas sits right outside the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and both are multi-generational communities with an ever-increasing senior population. This increase necessitates and welcomes active living communities, retiree apartment complexes, assisted living facilities and nursing homes. In order to provide information and support to this demographic, the Senior Services Coalition is made up of member businesses that offer support services, senior discounts, transportation and living accommodations. The purpose is to showcase and educate services and goods available to all seniors and their families within our communities in hopes of making their lives easier to navigate and find trustworthy resources when needed.

Allen Fairview Young Professionals

Allen Fairview Young Professionals program is specifically designed with 21-45 year old professionals in mind with a focus on professional and personal development. Areas of concentration would focus on building connections, learning about, getting and staying motivated within the our communities.

The mission of the Ambassador Club is to serve as goodwill representatives for the Allen Fairview Chamber of Commerce by welcoming new members at ribbon cuttings, grand openings, and other Chamber events.

Ambassadors Club and BSA meet conjointly every second Monday of the month. Senior Service Alliance meets every fourth Friday of the month (subject to change depending on the hosting business’s schedule). DEI meetings will be added as the year continues.
