Effective March 10: COVID-19 Protocols at City Facilities

City and county governments are restricted from creating or enforcing localized mask mandates in place of the statewide order which ends on March 10. Individual businesses and other entities may set and enforce their own COVID-19 protocols and may refuse service to customers who do not comply. We are committed to helping everyone access City services, and will not turn away any visitor as we continue doing our part to keep COVID-19 cases in decline. We will also continue virtual and contact-free options such as library curbside pickup, online bill pay, online ticket/fine payment, virtual inspections and other services to support our community. A commitment to following CDC recommendations, along with the expansion of vaccine availability, is contributing to a steady decline in local COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations. Weekly COVID-19 data will continue to be posted at CityofAllen.org/Coronavirus to support residents and businesses as they make choices regarding the safety of themselves and their patrons. In addition, Allen Fire Department continues offering one of the best-run vaccine hubs in the state, and we’re proud of their proactive efforts to protect Allen seniors, healthcare workers and teachers along with all others in qualifying groups.
