American Family Care Opening New Urgent Care in Allen

State-Of-The-Art Facility Will Deliver Affordable, Quality Health Care to Collin County

ALLEN, Texas – American Family Care (AFC), the nation’s leading provider of urgent care and occupational medicine, continues to expand its national care network with the opening of the latest AFC urgent care clinic in Allen, Texas. The new state-of-the-art facility will start seeing patients seven days a week at 325 Central Expressway South, on Thursday, January 10^th.

The new AFC urgent care center provides a comprehensive list of medical services that save families time and money. “We are very excited about opening a second location in Allen and being part of the community,” says Justin Rains, CEO of AFC in Allen and Southlake. “AFC is a proven asset to any medical community. • State of the Art Diagnostics – Digital x-ray equipment allows AFC staff to take and read x-rays within minutes. Patients are provided with copies of their x-rays on a compact disc when they are discharged.
• Lab Work – AFC’s on-site laboratory provides a variety of lab work with results available within minutes.
• Occupational Health and Workers’ Compensation Exams – These services include OSHA-mandated medical surveillance exams, D.O.T. and non-D.O.T. drug screens and physicals, and breath alcohol tests.
• Extended Hours – AFC will be open Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
